Watch Week

As Yakki ponders over a Tag and a Baume, I would like to recommend a more affordable brand to those of you who are considering a little foray into the world of watches.

Introducing to you, NIXON.

After my return into the world of watches with the G-Shock G-6900A, my wrist was itching for another watch.

It's like an addiction.
Some say it's kinda 'ah lian'

We stumbled upon Nixon watches on a travel magazine. Nixon began with a small line of custom built, team designed watches with focused distribution in specialty surf, skate, snow, and fashion stores. This explains it's casual and funky feel.

Anyway, we headed down to the nearest Tangs to check them out. I saw The Sentry and bought only version they had.

The gun metal one below is out-of-stock even in the States. Tough luck.

Anyhow, there's a few decent Nixon watches around and they range from S$100+ to maybe S$400+.

The other one I quite like is The Outsider.
Alienish?
If not, probably will get a G-Shock Mudman or the new Billabong ST2.

Yeah I know, nothing like the Panerais and Chopards. But these will do just fine. It's all about the time, isn't it?
